Tony O’Brien D.O., M.O.C.I., M.A.O.I., M.I.C.O

After graduating from the Irish College of Classical Osteopathy in 2003, I worked at The Littlejohn Centre in Dublin until 2020.I

I am a founding member of the Association of Osteopaths in Ireland (A.O.I.) and the Osteopathic Council of Ireland (O.C.I.), and I strongly advocate for the regulation and registration of osteopaths in Ireland and Europe. I am convinced that regulation and registration of the profession are essential for creating a safe environment for both patients and practitioners to operate in.

Your treatment with me may be covered by your health insurance company, depending on your health plan, as a member of the O.C.I.

I have operated my own private practice at the clinic, while also being a part of the Family and Children's Clinic there. This experience of collaborating with children and families, both in a team setting and individually, has proven to be immensely valuable. I operate a clinic at Gymplus in Swords, located in North County Dublin, on Fridays and a Clinic in Naas on saturdays.. My practice encompasses more than just families and children. Treatments encompass all age groups and address a wide range of injuries and health maintenance needs. Osteopathic treatment can enhance health for a wide range of individuals, including children, manual workers, office employees, elite athletes, and, naturally, the elderly or those with health challenges.

Since graduating, I have pursued further studies at the Institute of Classical Osteopathy in Maidstone and the British School of Osteopathy in London. I have provided tutoring for the five-day course at the British School of Osteopathy, which educates qualified osteopaths on the principles of cranial osteopathy.
