Osteopathy is an established natural health care system which deals with the structure of the body and how it works. The structure of the body would include the bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, nerves, blood vessels and connective tissues.
If the structure of the body is misaligned, stuck or dysfunctional in any way, then the body cannot work properly. This would lead to poor health and disease. Ajusting these structural problems leads to better function and health.
Diploma in Osteopathy | Member of the institute of Classical Osteopathy | Member of the Osteopathic Council of Ireland
Having graduated from the Irish Collage of Classical Osteopathy in 2003, I have worked at the Little John Center in Dublin until 2020. I have had my own private practice at the clinic but I have also worked as part of the Family and Children's clinic there.
Infant osteopathy provides gentle, effective treatments that help babies grow and stay healthy. An osteopath utilises gentle, hands-on methods to find and relieve physical tensions or imbalances that may have come from birth trauma, feeding problems, colic, or trouble sleeping. Osteopathy can make a baby more comfortable, help them digest food better, and boost their immune system by encouraging natural alignment and better blood flow. My therapies are made just for newborns, so they are safe and calming, which helps them grow and stay healthy.
